Leadership performance and mindset coaching

Invest in how you lead.
Change how you show up.

Most leaders reach a point where effort alone stops being enough. The habits, patterns and ways of thinking that got you here start working against you, and something needs to shift. This programme creates the space to find out what that is, and the structure to actually change it.

Over six focused sessions, we work on the mindset and behaviours that shape how you lead - drawing on the Kokoro Compass to give your development a navigating framework, not just a set of tools. The work is personal, practical, and built around your real context.

Two pathways

SELF-FUNDED

Investing in yourself

For leaders choosing to invest in their own growth, without waiting for an organisation to fund it. Objective-setting between you and me. Full programme, full commitment.

ORGANISATIONALLY SUPPORTED

Investing in your people

For organisations investing in a leader's development. Includes an optional tri-party meeting with the leader's manager to set objectives and secure alignment from the start.

All sessions are 60 minutes, delivered in-person or online. Payment plans available for self-funded pathway. Pricing by conversation.

What’s included

This programme is for

You’ll leave with

A clearer leadership identity, more deliberate patterns of thinking and behaviour, and a practice you can sustain - built on a compass that's yours to keep.

The coaching journey

Session 1: Objective setting and programme focus

Session one establishes your goals, surfaces what's most alive for you right now, and maps the Compass directions most relevant to your development. For the organisationally supported pathway, an optional tri-party meeting with your manager runs alongside this.

Sessions 2 -5: Coaching

Four focused sessions working on the specific mindset patterns, behaviours and challenges that are shaping how you lead. Practical, honest, and grounded in your real context.

Session 6: Review and forward plan

A final session to consolidate what's shifted, name what you're taking forward, and build a practice that keeps the development alive beyond our time together.

Anonymised case study · Not-for-profit sector · Emerging leader

A programme manager in a not-for-profit organisation had recently stepped into their first formal leadership role. Technically strong and deeply committed to the mission, they were struggling with confidence, boundary-setting, and managing upward - patterns that were beginning to affect both their performance and their wellbeing.

Challenge

A six-session Leadership Performance and Mindset Coaching programme, self-funded. Sessions drew on Wabi-sabi (finding strength in an imperfect leadership style), Kintsugi (reframing a difficult earlier experience as a leadership asset), and Kaizen (building small, sustainable new habits rather than attempting wholesale change).

Approach

By the end of the programme, the leader had significantly shifted their relationship with authority and self-doubt, established clearer boundaries with their team, and developed a daily leadership practice grounded in the Compass. They went on to successfully apply for a more senior role within their organisation.
